My goal for this blog isn’t to give readers any advice about your career, finances, or how you should live your life. I don’t want to pretend as if I’ve got it all together because that couldn’t be further from the truth.
My goal for this blog is to document my career, life choices/changes, and financial decisions, as a millennial. Why? Because sometimes getting my life “together” feels a lot like stumbling around in the dark. I hope, that if any other millennial happens to bump into my blog in the blind pursuit of adulthood, they can learn from my mistakes and (if I’m lucky) triumphs.
Welcome to Accidentally Adulting. Please, don’t laugh at me too hard.

Hahaha! Thanks! I’m glad you like it! I feel that my friends and I are constantly discussing adulating, and whether or not we’re even doing this right. I think the biggest thing is to avoid comparing our milestones to others. We have to accept that we’re each doing this at our own pace.

I like your approach and know exactly what you mean. Last year I “did” a personal boot camp for the bonus years, trying to make sense of my surprising entry into old age, and preparing for the next phase of life. And it is personal: not advice to anybody but me. I found it very worthwhile and hope you find the same with your venture. If you are interested, the blog is on my author site: rachelmcalpine dot com

Hi T,
I love your site – you are well on your way to figuring adulting out…as much as any of us could at least 🙂 Anyways, I’m Shannon and I work for Tommy John. It’s nice to “meet” you. I’d love to work together with an upcoming post idea I think you might love.
Please feel free to shoot me an e-mail if you’re interested.
Best,
Shannon
